Mežvidi Agricultural and Technology Park is located on the eastern border of Latvia, in Ludza region, Mežvidu rural municipality, Klonešniki and currently occupies an area of more than 15 ha.

The origins of its establishment can be traced back to 2009, when several entrepreneurs of the region and their cooperation partners came together, and the implementation of a project was started, combining production of renewable energy and growing vegetables in greenhouses using organic farming methods.
The challenges and opportunities of the implemented project became the basis for the creation of the Mežvidi Agricultural and Technology Park, which brings together companies, research institutions (universities), industry associations and organizations to create and develop green (clean) technologies in agriculture, energy and electronics.
